OMG! It has been way too long since my last post here.
So, let´s take care of this now!
First of all, I hope you are having a wonderful time with your loved ones at this time of the year. I am very blessed and get to spend time with people that are near and dear to my heart.
Something that is also very near and dear to my heart musically and on a personal level is T.O.L. , the trio with David Binderberger and Lukas Pamminger who happen to be two of my best friends.
In November 2022 we played a tour in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Right after finishing this tour we went into the studio. We had the absolute pleasure of recording at the wonderful MEZANNINstudio in beautiful Salzburg, Austria. Florian Schernhammer, the owner of the studio, also was kind enough to engineer, mix and master our recording session. We spent an afternoon setting up and beeing impressed by how nice and cosy the studio is. The day after we recorded, still in awe, the material that was written by David wich played on the recent tour.
We did not only record the tracks but also film the whole thing! Everything you can now hear or/and see are live takes. We played each song twice and took the take that felt better to us.
It feels very oldschool to do a recording like this, but at the same time it is a very honest representation of what the music is live and that´s what we tried to capture.
